Special General Meeting

All JCC members (players aged 14 years and over, Life Members and management committee) are invited to a Special General Meeting on Tuesday 25 November 2025 at 7.45pm at Waiora.

The purpose of this Special General Meeting is to consider and, if agreed, adopt the updated Constitution of the Johnsonville Cricket Club in accordance with the Incorporated Societies Act 2022.

All incorporated societies in New Zealand are required to update and re-register their constitutions under the new Act to ensure compliance. Adoption of this updated constitution is essential for JCC to:

• Maintain its legal status as a registered incorporated society.

• Continue to apply for and receive funding and grants.

• Uphold best-practice governance standards.

• Ensure the ongoing ability to operate effectively within the updated legal framework.
